The artist behind mimosa by m.e. is me - madeline ellis.

Since receiving my degree in landscape architecture I spend my days designing and creating outdoor spaces that bring their guests a bit closer to nature. My pieces not only include many natural materials but I strive for them to have the same qualities as the nature around us, strenth and timeless beauty.

In many of my pieces are findings that I have aquired from trips all over the world; the U.S., Europe, Asia, Central America, and the South Pacific, where I literally carried them home in my backpack. I make a note of these special pieces wherever they are listed. I love sharing the memories through my jewerly. My passion is creating one of a kind custom pieces I can hand make special for someone.

I live in south Louisiana and everything about this place from the food to the landscape inspires my jewerly and art. I share my life with my wonderful very ambitious and very supportive husband Dawson and our two little dogs Rook and Willie.
